Beryl have rapidly delivered Watford’s successful bike share scheme in a well-executed project, delivering significant impact in the first months with early indications of modal shift already visible in the data. During Covid-19, the bikes were able to provide residents with a socially distanced leisure activity and mode of transport. I look forward to working closely with Beryl to continue to build upon this success as we move forward, progress our strategic objectives and welcome e-bikes into the scheme later this year.
