New term, new travel habits

Uni in Bournemouth and Poole is #BetterByBike

It's that time of year when eager new students arrive in towns and cities across the UK to get settled into their new homes. With the COVID pandemic still affecting how we gather and move around, it's more important than ever to help students find safe, affordable and sustainable ways to get around between halls, classes and socialising.

Bournemouth is a really popular choice for students - with fantastic beaches, great nightlife and a wide range of courses available, it's easy to see why. The universities across the area have been working hard for months to put everything in place to make sure staff and students can return to enjoy campus life while limiting the spread of coronavirus as much as possible. An important part of this is considering how everyone travels around, since public transport capacity is limited and already-congested roads mean that private cars are out of the question. So the universities have teamed up with Beryl to make it as easy as possible for students and staff to get on a bike.

Grab a bike and your friends and head down to the beach after class
