Women@Beryl network launches a series of panel discussions to celebrate IWD21

The Women@Beryl network will host our inaugural International Women’s Day series to celebrate this year’s theme #ChooseToChallenge – to raise awareness against bias and take action for equality in cycling and micromobility.

A series of panel discussions will run online from 8-11 March and will include thought-provoking discussions from an amazing lineup of women who are leading the way in business, the media, tech and micromobility. 

Supported by our partner Landor Links, attendees will be able to join five sessions over four days each focusing on a different theme.  

Monday 8th March - 18.00 - 19.00 

Women Leading in Mobility

This panel aims to shine a light on the women shaping the mobility industry and examine how they got to where they are. We’ll discuss challenges faced as well as challenges they’re raising - as we navigate the panels personal journeys to leadership and ask how more women can and should do the same.

This panel will focus on the media’s role in shaping our perception of female cyclists as well as the media’s role in challenging held perceptions. Our panelist will discuss the changing tides, progress that has been made and the issues that remain to be challenged.
